Her journey into the world of events began in a very personal way: by planning her own wedding and later helping with her sister Inês’ celebration. What started as something close to home quickly became a genuine passion. Mariana found herself enjoying every part of the process, from choosing the right details and creating the atmosphere to coordinating all the little elements that make an event feel truly personal.
That experience led her to create Mariana Degener Events, an event planning and consulting company built around her own aesthetic and way of working: elegant, timeless and thoughtful, with a strong focus on the experience of each client.
Having a background in fashion and a life between Portugal and Barcelona naturally influences her approach. She loves discovering beautiful places, working with talented creatives and bringing together all the elements of an event in a way that feels effortless and authentic.
Today, Mariana works across weddings, private celebrations and events, in Spain, Portugal and destinations beyond. From intimate gatherings and destination weddings to larger celebrations and special occasions, she takes the time to understand each client, their vision and what they want the event to feel like.
